The Meat

The Macelleria Belli Butchery, located in Torrita di Siena, is renowned for its dedication to quality and Tuscan tradition. For over 50 years, it has offered customers premium-quality meats. One of the standout products from Belli Butchery is rigatino toscano, a lightly cured bacon, made from the upper part of the pig, between the fatback and true bacon. It is seasoned with salt, pepper, rosemary, garlic, and lemon and orange zest.

At Lalma Cafe, we use Belli Butchery's rigatino to enhance our scrambled eggs, giving the dish an authentic and traditional flavour.

The vegetables & fruits

Every Thursday, our team visits the local Montepulciano Farmer's Market, where we hand-pick seasonal produce grown with care and dedication. This weekly ritual allows us to craft a menu that changes with the seasons, celebrating the best flavours Tuscany has to offer.

To prioritise this commitment, we remain closed on Thursdays, dedicating the day to sourcing the freshest ingredients for the dishes you love. By choosing locally grown produce, we not only support our community but also ensure that every meal at Lalma Cafe is a true farm-to-table experience.

The Eggs

The eggs we use at Lalma Cafe come from Le Pescina farm in the Casentino region (Tuscan Apennine Mountains), where free-range hens are raised in open, natural surroundings. These eggs stand out for their exceptional quality, rich flavour, and vibrant yolks, adding a touch of authenticity and freshness to every dish.
